Thrilling Showdown as Broncos Hold off Bulldogs 6-5!

What a spectacle it was at BHi Brantford 2 on October 23, 2025, as the Broncos narrowly escaped the clutches of the resilient Bulldogs, securing a thrilling 6-5 victory. This game was a true testament to the competitive spirit of youth ball hockey, with both teams displaying remarkable skill and sportsmanship.

The first period was a seesaw battle, with the score tied at 3-3. Carson Swayze of the Broncos was the standout player, netting two goals, with assists from Tristan Barkman and Kaitlyn Barkman. On the Bulldogs side, Ryker Leduc and Hridhaan Balothia found the back of the net, with assists from Cole Walker and Nic Santa Barbara respectively.

Carson Swayze continued his scoring spree into the second period, adding another goal to his tally. However, the Bulldogs weren’t going down without a fight. Cole Walker emerged as a force to be reckoned with, scoring twice in quick succession.

The third period started with the Broncos in the lead, but the Bulldogs were hot on their trail. Both teams traded blows, with Tristan Barkman scoring for the Broncos and Nic Santa Barbara responding for the Bulldogs.
