In an adrenaline-filled matchup on October 23, 2025, the ’12 to 14 Dragons’ played an impressive game to secure a victory over the ‘Crusaders’ on the BHi Brantford 1 arena.
The game kicked off with both teams displaying remarkable tenacity and skill. The Crusaders’ Carter MacDonald drew first blood during the 2nd period, hammering in a goal at the 7:15 mark with the assist from Grayson Young. The Crusaders were back at it again just a few minutes later, as Liam Torelli found the back of the net with an assist from Carter MacDonald and Grayson Young.
However, the Dragons refused to be outdone. A swift retaliation from the Dragons’ Elijah Khimji, assisted by Noah Khimji and Wesley Pottruff, kept them in the game. The 2nd period ended with both teams on their toes and the spectators on the edge of their seats.
The third period was a rollercoaster of emotions. The Dragons’ Masen Buscombe set the tone early on with a goal in just 47 seconds into the period, following a great assist from Jackson Tremblay. Elijah Khimji, building upon his previous success, solidified the Dragons’ standing with another goal at the 8:26 mark, assisted once again by Jackson Tremblay and Noah Parry.
In the end, despite the Crusaders’ 24 shots on goal compared to the Dragons’ 20, the Dragons swooped in for a well-deserved victory. This game will undoubtedly go down as one of the most thrilling matches of the season. We’re already excited about what these young stars will bring to their next games!
