On the evening of October 23, 2025, The Brand showed their prowess on the field against NFG in a thrilling game at BHi Brantford 1. Ty Birdsell led the charge for The Brand, assisting in two goals in the first period and then scoring two more in the second, demonstrating his incredible skill and teamwork.
The Brand kick-started the game when Cody Hannah scored the first goal just 9 minutes and 45 seconds into the first period. This was swiftly followed by a goal from Will Gustin, assisted by Birdsell, setting the tone for the rest of the game.
In the second period, Birdsell took over the spotlight, scoring two goals with impressive support from Matt Secor on his first goal. Their teamwork didn’t go unnoticed, as The Brand ended the second period with a healthy lead.
Despite a valiant effort from NFG in the third period, with Joe King scoring on an assist from Cole Dezainde and Bill Whitlow, The Brand held their ground. Raine Hernden, assisted by Birdsell, scored another goal for The Brand, sealing the victory.
