The Lumberjacks countered with some fierce offense, with Doug Kellam putting them on the board with an assist from Keeghan Kellam. Owen Iampietro, assisted by Doug Kellam and Colton Farrugia, kept the momentum going for the Lumberjacks by scoring another goal.
In the second period, James Huzul, assisted by Aiden Sioen and Phinn Sinden, extended the Royals’ lead. But Colton Farrugia, assisted by Keeghan Kellam and Tyler Johns, fired a goal back for the Lumberjacks.
The final period saw both teams vying for the win, with James Huzul scoring for the Royals, assisted by Phinn Sinden and Kate Walgraeve. Max Marcy of the Lumberjacks responded with another goal, assisted by Colton Farrugia and Keeghan Kellam. Heather Barkman, however, sealed the victory for the Royals by scoring the final goal of the night, assisted by Phinn Sinden.
