On November 21, 2025, the crowd at BHi Brantford 2 was electric as the Royals and the Caraiboozers faced off in the championship game. The game was a rollercoaster of excitement, right up until the final whistle in overtime.
Brock Staley of the Royals opened the scoring 6 minutes and 33 seconds into the first period, with Nathan Feeney and Melanie Woods providing the assists. But the Caraiboozers weren’t going down without a fight. Just 24 seconds into the third period, Jordan Wonch found the back of the Royals’ net, sending the game into a nail-biting overtime.
With 9 minutes and 43 seconds on the clock in overtime, it was Brock Staley once again who emerged as the hero for the Royals, scoring the championship-winning goal. Nathan Feeney, despite spending a few minutes in the penalty box for tripping during the second period, rallied to assist on the decisive goal.
The Royals outshot the Caraiboozers 43-23, demonstrating strong offensive pressure throughout the game.
