The match started off with the Brantford Royals flashing their offensive prowess. Preston VanEvery, the star player of the Royals, scored two quick goals in the first period, one with an assist from Dylan Brandt, leaving the Nips n’ Tips momentarily stunned.
However, the Nips n’ Tips were not to be written off so easily. The third period saw them make a jaw-dropping comeback. The first goal of their comeback was scored by Andrew Maclean, assisted by Kyle Boutilier and Default Player.
