Hawks Soar High Against Flamingos in Saturday Showdown!

On a sunny Saturday morning, September 20, 2025, the youth ball hockey teams, Flamingos and Hawks, faced off at BHi Brantford 2 for a thrilling game that kept the spectators on the edge of their seats.

It was a high-octane match from the get-go. The Flamingos’ star player, Harrison Cole, started the game on a high note, scoring two goals in the first period. He demonstrated his prowess once again in the second period, netting yet another goal for the Flamingos.

However, the Hawks were not to be outdone. Ella Jackson, assisted by Easton Whalen, scored a goal in the second period, followed by a self-assisted goal by Whalen himself. The score was tied at 3-3, but the tie was broken by Jacob Marchment, who pushed the Hawks into the lead with an assist from Whalen and Jackson.

In the third period, despite a two-minute tripping penalty by the Flamingos’ Lucien Michaud, Noah Wilkinson secured the win for the Hawks with an unassisted goal.

The final score was a nail-biter, with the Hawks flying away with the win against the Flamingos. The Hawks’ defense held strong throughout the game, managing to fend off a total of 14 shots from the Flamingos, while their offense pelted the Flamingos’ net with 18 shots in return.

Despite losing, Harrison Cole of the Flamingos was an undeniable standout of the game with his hat trick. On the Hawks, Easton Whalen showed his value as both a scorer and a team player with one goal and two assists.
