It was an exciting day of youth ball hockey on September 20, 2025, as the Dragons faced off against the Eagles at BHi Brantford 1. A multitude of goals and intense action kept spectators on the edge of their seats.
In the first period, the Eagles took the lead with a blistering shot from Carson Hall, just 3 minutes and 45 seconds into the game. Despite a 2-minute penalty for tripping, Hall’s performance was instrumental in setting the tone for the Eagles’ powerful offensive game.
The Dragons responded in the second period with a goal from Hunter Laurie, thanks to a fantastic assist from Elijah Mathura. This equalizer brought the energy back into the Dragon’s game, but it was short-lived as the Eagles retaliated. Gabriel Greene and Dominic Raposeiro found the back of the net, giving the Eagles a solid lead going into the final period.
In the third period, the Eagles extended their dominance with Gabriel Greene scoring again, this time with an assist from Emillie Blagdon. Cohen Flannigan topped off the Eagles’ awesome performance with another goal, assisted by Harrison Veber, proving the Eagles too strong for the Dragons this day.
Despite the Dragons’ valiant efforts and a total of 14 shots on goal, the Eagles were victorious. With their efficient offense and solid defense, they allowed only 9 shots on their goal. Congratulations to the Eagles on their well-deserved win!
