On the evening of October 29, 2025, the ball hockey world was treated to an electrifying quarter-final matchup between The Snipe Clan and Trash Pandas. In a thrilling game that kept the audience at the edge of their seats, the Trash Pandas emerged victorious and secured their place in the next round.
The Snipe Clan drew first blood with Keelen Point scoring an even strength goal at the 8th minute and 54th second of the first period, assisted by Mitchell VanEvery. However, the Trash Pandas quickly retaliated with Lucas Johnston scoring a goal, assisted by Ryan Calbeck and Dylan House, at the 7th minute and 40th second of the first period. But the Snipe Clan would have the last word in the first period with a goal from Sandy Porter, assisted by Daryl Hill, just 39 seconds before the buzzer.
The second period saw Lucas Johnston of the Trash Pandas scoring his second goal with the help of James Colwell and Owen Blank, bringing the game to a 2-2 tie. The decisive moment of the game came in the third period when Lucas Johnston completed his hat-trick at the 5th minute and 33rd second, securing the victory for the Trash Pandas.
The game was not without its fair share of penalties, the most severe being a 4-minute penalty for high-sticking awarded to Ryan Calbeck of the Trash Pandas during the third period. This penalty, however, couldn’t deter the Trash Pandas from maintaining their lead and clinching the game.
