Trash Pandas Triumph in Thrilling Encounter Against Lights Out!

On the evening of October 24th, 2025, the Trash Pandas and Lights Out clashed in an adrenaline-filled game at the BHi Brantford 1 venue. The Trash Pandas emerged as the triumphant team at the end of the day, showcasing a splendid performance full of skill and teamwork.

The game commenced with the Trash Pandas putting on an impressive display. Jenn Boutilier, with an assist from Raine Hernden, scored the opening goal of the match for the Trash Pandas just five minutes into the first period. Lights Out quickly responded with a fine goal by Matt Richardson, turning up the heat on the competitive encounter.

In the second period, the Trash Pandas regained their lead with Amanda Barnett finding the back of the net, thanks to an assist from the dynamic duo Kyle Boutilier and Jenn Boutilier. The third period saw the Trash Pandas extending their lead with two goals, both scored by the exceptional Raine Hernden. Amanda Barnett and Payten Willmets assisted the first, while Victoria Barsotta and Kyle Boutilier set up the second.

The Trash Pandas’ victory can be attributed not only to their superior scoring but also their solid defense. They were able to hold their ground, despite Lights Out having more shots on goal. The final score remained undisclosed; however, the game was undoubtedly a thrilling encounter that kept the spectators on the edge of their seats till the end.

Referees Jeff Bradbury and Dieter Van Linn did an excellent job managing the game, along with TimeKeeper Jake Carmichael. We congratulate the Trash Pandas on their victory and look forward to more exciting games in the future!
