On the evening of October 24th, 2025, fans at BHi Brantford 2 witnessed a masterclass in ball hockey, as the Royals trumped the Caraiboozers in an action-packed clash. With the home crowd cheering them on, the Royals delivered a stellar performance, proving that they are indeed royalty on the rink.
The Royals outshot their opponents by an impressive 26 to 8 ratio, marking their territory right from the outset. The first half saw the Royals’ Shannon Pearson and Preston VanEvery score a goal each, with assists from Cordell Foster, Amanda Barnett, Jacob Woods, and Nathan Feeney.
The Caraiboozers put up a hard fight, but the Royals maintained their momentum into the third period. Katarina Selinger scored early on, assisted by Pearson and Feeney, taking the Royals’ lead to three. VanEvery then netted his second of the night, with Barnett and Tom Johnson providing the assists. Finally, Nathan Feeney rounded off a fantastic night for the Royals with the final goal, assisted by Pearson and Foster.
The Caraiboozers were unable to get on the scoreboard but showed a lot of heart throughout the game. The Royals, however, were in top form and reigned supreme at the final whistle.
The night’s Stars were no doubt Pearson, VanEvery, and Feeney who each contributed spectacularly to the Royals’ decisive victory.
