Thrilling Showdown in BHi Brantford: Caraiboozers Triumph Over Mighty T’weas

Under the lights of BHi Brantford, on September 26, 2025, an incredible ball hockey game unfolded. The Mighty T’weas hosted the Caraiboozers in what turned out to be a nail-biting match filled with skill, passion, and strategic gameplay.

The Caraiboozers made a powerful start with Becca King, assisted by Nathan Feeney, finding the back of the net early in the first period. Don Pauze, with an assist from Jordan Wonch, followed up not long after, giving the Caraiboozers a strong 2-0 lead.

The Mighty T’weas clapped back in the second period with Scott Riley scoring an unassisted goal. This was quickly answered by Don Pauze, assisted by Wes Whitlow, restoring the Caraiboozers’ two-goal lead. However, the Mighty T’weas weren’t finished yet. Preston VanEvery, assisted by Jeremy Hunchak, reduced the Caraiboozers’ lead, keeping the T’weas in the game.

The action didn’t stop there. Wes Whitlow, assisted by Nathan Feeney, added another for the Caraiboozers. Becca King then extended their lead with a solo goal. But the Mighty T’weas continued to fight back, with Liam Hartman scoring, assisted by Jocelyn General. Wes Whitlow, however, had the last word with a final goal for the Caraiboozers, sealing the victory.

Officiated by the Gerrard brothers – Jacob and Jeremiah, and timekept by Jake Carmichael, it was a thrilling game of ball hockey. Despite a minor hiccup with a delay of game penalty against Nathan Feeney, both teams showed impressive stamina and a strong will to win.

In the end, the Caraiboozers triumphed with an exciting 6-3 victory, proving that teamwork and tenacity can carry the day. We look forward to more exhilarating ball hockey action in the coming weeks!
