In a thrilling match on the evening of August 27th, 2025, the STG Sabres proved victorious against Ram Ranch in a strategic and high-spirited ball hockey game held at BHi Brantford 1. This was Game 2 of the Best 2 out of 3 Championship series and it certainly didn’t disappoint.
The Sabres drew first blood early in the first period with Brandon Cripps netting a goal, assisted by Noah Girling and Ryan O’Keefe. Just a couple of minutes later, Dalton Kipp, also assisted by Noah Girling and Brandon Cripps, added another goal for the Sabres.
Ram Ranch didn’t let this dampen their spirits though. Jake Laracy, assisted by Owen Houley and James Hanna, managed to put one on the board for Ram Ranch in the second period. The third period saw another two goals from Ram Ranch – one from Josh Peixoto, assisted by Ben Huffman, and another from Ben Huffman himself.
But the Sabres were not done yet. Dalton Kipp scored another goal, once again assisted by Noah Girling and Brandon Cripps. And the icing on the cake was provided by Brandon Cripps who scored the final goal of the match in the fifth period with assistance from Noah Girling.
On the penalty front, Ram Ranch’s Owen Houley received a 2-minute penalty in the first period. This game was a rollercoaster ride from start to finish, full of fantastic plays and great teamwork. Congratulations to STG Sabres on their victory. We can’t wait for the next game of the series!
