In a thrilling game of ball hockey played on September 12, 2025, the Royals clashed with the Mighty T’weas. The atmosphere at BHi Brantford 2 was electric as the Royal’s fans were rewarded with an exciting victory.
The Royals established their dominance early on with Brock Staley’s fantastic goal in the 9th minute, assisted by Hunter Cain and Shannon Pearson. Cain then doubled the Royals’ lead only 7 minutes later with a goal set up by Staley. However, the Mighty T’weas weren’t ready to back down just yet. Tim Porter managed to find the back of the net in the second period, assisted by Liam Hartman and Cody Summers, bringing the Mighty T’weas back into the game.
Despite a penalty against the Mighty T’weas in the 3rd minute of the second period, the Royals maintained their composure. They came back even stronger in the third period when Tom Johnson, assisted by Staley, added another goal to the Royals’ tally. Brock Staley, the star of the game, scored his second goal in the 7th minute, followed shortly by a goal from Shannon Pearson.
The Royals showed great synergy on the rink with Brock Staley being a standout performer, contributing to multiple goals. The Mighty T’weas fought valiantly, but on this day, the Royals were just too strong. We look forward to the next exciting clash in this thrilling youth ball hockey season!
