On a beautiful Sunday morning, September 14, 2025, fans at BHi Brantford 2 were treated to an exciting ball hockey match. The game saw the Phatletes go head-to-head with Just the Tip. There was plenty of action, with players on both sides showing off their skill and team spirit.
Kellan Kleinstuber broke the ice for the Phatletes in the 2nd period with a clean shot, setting the tone for the rest of the match. He was followed shortly by Dakota St.Pierre, who doubled the lead for the team. It seemed like the Phatletes were on fire!
Just when we thought the second period was all about the Phatletes, Jeremiah Gerrard of Just the Tip responded with an excellent goal, assisted by Ben Piler and Jon Gerrard. The spectators erupted in cheers as Jeremiah found the back of the net.
The third period opened with high stakes. The Phatletes’ Josh Cummings elevated the excitement by scoring another goal, thus securing a comfortable lead for his team. The Phatletes managed to maintain their lead, eventually emerging victorious.
Although Just the Tip showed great determination, with players like Sam Spagnuolo and Carter Lockyer serving penalties, it was the Phatletes who stole the show. The Phatletes not only won the match but also won the hearts of many spectators with their impressive team play, captivating shots, and solid defense.
