Regina Hares Hop to Victory in Quarter Finals!

It was an intense evening of ball hockey on November 3rd, 2025, at the BHi Brantford 1 venue. The powerhouse teams, The Gamblers and Regina Hares, faced off in a thrilling showdown that had spectators at the edge of their seats.

The game started off strong, with both teams bringing their A-game and making it clear that they had come to win. The visitors, Regina Hares, gained a strong footing in the 2nd period with Jacob Gaudet, Lincoln Humphries, Joel Vlietstra, and Mitchell Hartman scoring goals. Assists were credited to Lincoln Humphries, Hadee Jehangeer, Ryan Goldberg-Rogers, Elliot Maratos, Riley Eechaute, and Mitchell Hartman, which added to the Hares’ superiority.

Not to be outdone, The Gamblers responded with two rapid-fire goals by Marshall Powless, both times assisted by Cole Powless. The tension was palpable in the venue as the clock ticked down and both teams fought for control of the ball.

The 3rd period was marked by a series of penalties, which added an extra layer of drama to the match. Three Gamblers’ players, Cole Powless, Jordan Sandy, and Rakawineh Elijah, and two of the Hares’ players, Jacob Gaudet and Jacob Stamp, were given penalties.

However, the night belonged to the Regina Hares, who managed to score another goal in the last few minutes of the game, courtesy of Jacob Gaudet, assisted by Riley Eechaute and Mitchell Hartman. This secured their win in this adrenaline-filled match, crowning the Hares as the victors of the quarter-finals.

The crowd erupted in cheers, applauding the skill and prowess demonstrated by both teams. The night was a testament to the spirit of the game, and both The Gamblers and Regina Hares should be proud of their performance.
