Quarter Finals Thriller: Regina Hares Outscore The Gamblers

October 28, 2025, was a night to remember at the BHi Brantford 2 as Regina Hares took on The Gamblers in the exhilarating quarter-final of the ball hockey season. It was a battle of skill and determination, with Regina Hares emerging victorious over The Gamblers.

The Regina Hares showed off their prowess right from the second period, scoring two rapid-fire goals. The first was a masterstroke by Riley Eechaute, assisted by Thomas Beres and Philip Lzzi, just seven minutes into the period. Not far behind, Lincoln Humphries, with a smooth pass from Hadee Jehangeer, found the back of the net, doubling the Hares’ lead.

As the third period began, The Gamblers rallied to make a comeback. However, Jordan Vlietstra of the Hares, in a splendid solo effort, scored the third and final goal, putting the game beyond the reach of The Gamblers.

The Hares outshot The Gamblers, with a total of 27 shots compared to The Gamblers’ 29, demonstrating their strategic control of the game. Paul Alves and Machaela Mathurin, the referees, ensured a fair game, while timekeeper Sean Gairns kept things ticking smoothly.
