On an exciting evening of October 28, 2025, the Eagles and the Hawks took to the BHi Brantford 2 venue in an intense ball hockey match. The Eagles managed to take home the win in a thrilling showdown that kept everyone on their toes.
The Eagles were off to a flying start in the first period, with Dominic Raposeiro and Dawson Mascarin each netting a goal. With the Hawks unable to respond, the Eagles took a 2-0 lead into the first break.
The second period brought about more drama. Lukas Hancock from the Eagles was sent to the penalty box for tripping. The Hawks tried to seize this opportunity to reduce the deficit but fell short.
In the final period, the Hawks’ Ella Jackson, with an assist from Noah Wilkinson, managed to squeeze in a goal, making the score 2-1. However, the Eagles, steadfast and determined, responded almost instantly. Luka Griswold, with an assist from Harrison Veber, finished off a fantastic move to score the Eagles’ third goal, sealing the victory for the Eagles with a final score of 3-1.
While the Hawks gave it their best shot, the Eagles displayed excellent teamwork and determination. The highlight of the game was undoubtedly the Eagles’ swift response to the Hawks’ solitary goal, demonstrating their fighting spirit.
