On the brisk fall evening of October 29, 2025, the Mighty Turtles and the Brantford Ball Crushers skated their hearts out in an exhilarating ball hockey match at BHi Brantford 1. In a nail-biting third period, VanEvery managed another goal, this time with some help from Marr and Sault. Then in the fifth period, Sault, with help from General and Marr, rocketed the puck past the Crushers’ goalie to clinch a thrilling victory for the Mighty Turtles.
The final scoreline stood at 7-6 in favor of the Mighty Turtles, marking an unforgettable start to the elimination series. MVP honors went to Avery Sault for his impressive hat-trick and assist, closely followed by Brody Marr and Ashton VanEvery for their crucial goals.
