October 15, 2025 — It was an electrifying night at BHi Brantford 2, as the Crank Lightning defeated All Swedish No Finish in a thrilling youth ball hockey game. The Lightning displayed an impressive show of skill and teamwork, ultimately securing victory.
The game kicked off with an even strength goal by Josh Peixoto of the Lightning, assisted by Josh Metham and Jacob Woods just under 7 minutes into the first period. The action continued into the second period where Alex Richardson, assisted by Tim Porter, increased the lead for Crank Lightning.
All Swedish No Finish responded swiftly with a goal by Brycen Buscombe, assisted by Brock Staley and Jesse Hover. However, this was not enough to dampen the Lightning’s momentum. Jordan Wonch, Alex Richardson, and Wes Whitlow each netted a goal for the Lightning in the third period, leaving the All Swedish No Finish team trailing.
In a last attempt to close the gap, David Locke of All Swedish No Finish managed to sneak one past the Lightning’s defense with the help of Jesse Hover. However, the night belonged to the Crank Lightning, who walked away victorious in this thrilling match.
