On the evening of October 15, 2025, the Crank Lightning clashed sticks with the Bandits for an unforgettable game of ball hockey at the BHi Brantford 2 arena.
From the get-go, it was clear that both teams came ready to play. Brandon Crisps of the Bandits wasted no time, scoring in the first 5 minutes. Wes Whitlow of Crank Lightning responded with a goal of his own just a few minutes later, setting the tone for the rest of the match.
The first period ended with a 2-1 lead in favor of the Bandits, thanks to another goal from Brandon Crisps. However, Crank Lightning turned the tide in the second period with goals from Wes Whitlow and Nolan Walker, snatching the lead from the Bandits.
The third period was full of action as both teams ramped up their game. Tristan Blackmore of the Bandits scored two goals, but Crank Lightning was not to be outdone. Tim Porter and Wes Whitlow, with a hat-trick, found the back of the net, leading Crank Lightning to victory.
The game ended with a win for the Crank Lightning, but both teams showcased incredible skills and sportsmanship. We look forward to more thrilling games in this ball hockey season!
