The second period saw the Huskies’ River Sims manage to sneak a goal past the Jaguars’ goalie, assisted by Xzavier Martin. However, the Jaguars responded fiercely with four goals from Keegan McLaughlin, Riley Guzar, Brayden VanAssen, and Colton Agius, leaving the score at 5-1 by the end of the period.
In the final period, the Huskies attempted a comeback with goals from Jaze Foster-Clarkson and Reed Anderson. But the Jaguars were relentless. Riley Guzar scored his third goal of the game, followed by an additional goal from Keegan McLaughlin and two goals from Brayden VanAssen, one of which was assisted by Ryker Hebb. The Jaguars ended the game strong, securing their victory.
