The ball hockey fans of BHi Brantford 2 were treated to a thrilling spectacle on the evening of August 18, 2025, as the Grizzlies faced off against the Mustangs in a Round Robin battle for superiority.
The match kicked off in high gear with the Mustang’s Andre Greene scoring a goal, assisted by Kaiden Haentjens and Jocelyn General barely 3 minutes into the game. However, the Grizzlies responded in kind, with Tymon Vandersar driving home an equalizer, assisted by Ayden Schieman just a minute later.
In the second period, the Grizzlies started to find their groove. Seamus Pierce, with help from Hudson Pierce, and Ayden Schieman, assisted by Tymon Vandersar and Kathryn Kramer, turned the tide in favor of the Grizzlies.
The Mustangs, however, weren’t ready to bow out without a fight. Kaiden Haentjens found the back of the net, assisted by Andre Greene to keep the Mustangs in the running.
But the Grizzlies, undaunted, unleashed a flurry of goals in the third period. Hudson Pierce, Jared Biro, and Ayden Schieman each found the back of the net, bringing the final score to a decisive victory for the Grizzlies.
In the end, the Grizzlies’ aggressive offense and brilliant teamwork overpowered the Mustangs. Despite the valiant efforts by Mustangs’ key players, the Grizzlies held their ground and emerged victorious, securing their place in the youth ball hockey hall of fame.
