Falcons Soar to Victory in Exciting Ball Hockey Showdown!

On a lively afternoon at Woodman Park Community Centre on January 4, 2026, the Falcons and Stingrays clashed sticks in a thrilling youth ball hockey game. The Falcons soared high, trumping the Stingrays with a dazzling display of teamwork and skill.

The first period saw the Falcons’ Mason Foden explode onto the scene, scoring a stunning hat trick. Jackson Swayze chimed in with two goals of his own and Elijah Mathura added one to the tally making it a staggering 6-0 lead for the Falcons at the end of the first period.

As the second period commenced, the Stingrays made their mark on the game with a goal by Grayson Porter but it was not enough to deter the Falcons. Elijah Mathura scored twice more, earning himself a hat trick. Ben Milmine and Jackson Swayze also found the back of the net, bringing the Falcons’ total to ten goals. Stellar goaltending limited the Stingrays to just a single goal.

The lone penalty of the game was a 2-minute tripping infraction served by the Falcons’ Emillie Blagdon during the first period. However, the Falcons’ defense stayed strong and didn’t allow any goals during the penalty kill.
