The first period saw a flurry of goals from both sides, with Zane Rook and Ayaan Syed of the Crusaders and Colby Oliver, Liam Torelli, and Carter MacDonald of the Dolphins all finding the back of the net. The highlight of this period was a back-to-back goal sequence from Colby and Liam in under 30 seconds, showcasing the Dolphins’ aggressive offense. Despite a late period goal from the Crusaders’ Cameron Blagdon, the Dolphins managed to hold on to their lead.
