The Dolphins continued their momentum into the second period with another goal 8 minutes and 19 seconds in by Hayden Mitchell, assisted by Zendaya Lynn.
However, the Jaguars weren’t ready to give up just yet. Early in the third period, at 3 minutes and 59 seconds, Colten Valletta of the Jaguars managed to sneak one past the Dolphins’ goalie for an unforgettable goal. But the Dolphins quickly responded with another goal just over a minute later by Brayson Longboat, assisted by Maverick Stewart and Hayden Mitchell, sealing their victory.
There was also no shortage of penalties in the match, with the Jaguars Mateo Petitti and Duncan McLaughlin each serving two minutes in the second period for body checking and interference respectively. Hayden Mitchell of the Dolphins also had his share of penalty time, serving two minutes in both the second and third periods due to interference and tripping.
