Dillon Breen Leads Brantford Ball Crushers to Victory over Assassins!

On a beautiful October afternoon, the Brantford Ball Crushers delivered a thrilling victory over the Assassins in an exciting youth ball hockey showdown at BHi Brantford 2 on October 26, 2025. Dillon Breen of the Crushers was the star of the day, scoring a hat trick that left the crowd cheering in delight.

Breen opened the scoring with a beautiful even strength goal assisted by Nick Visser, just five minutes into the first period. The Assassins evened the score in the second period with Terry Morgenschweis providing an unassisted goal. However, Breen responded with his second goal of the game, reestablishing the Crushers’ lead.

The Crushers further cemented their lead with Derek Robertson and Dillon Breen again, scoring two more goals within the last two minutes of the second period. Penalties from Jaxson Leween of the Assassins allowed the Crushers to capitalise and extend their lead.

In the third period, Matt Andrews, assisted by Dillon Breen, scored another goal for the Crushers. Despite a hefty 10-minute penalty for Andrews and a 4-minute penalty for Owen Iampietro of the Assassins, no more goals were added to the scoreboard.

With the Crushers outshooting the Assassins 14-10, the game ended in favour of the Brantford Ball Crushers. This game day will surely be remembered for Dillon Breen’s outstanding performance, helping his team secure an impressive victory.
