On the evening of November 1, 2025, the Caraiboozers went head-to-head with Willow Lake in a thrilling ball hockey match at BHi Brantford 2. The game ended in an exhilarating triumph for the Caraiboozers, who showcased exceptional teamwork and athletic prowess on the ice. Unfortunately for Willow Lake, despite a valiant effort, they were unable to secure a win this time.
The first period saw Jordan Wonch kick-start the Caraiboozers’ scoring spree, with an assist from Nathan Feeney. Willow Lake’s Damen McEachern received a two-minute penalty for body contact, but the team managed to prevent any goals during the penalty.
The second period was action-packed, filled with shots, goals, and penalties. Don Pauze and Jordan Wonch both found the back of the net for the Caraiboozers, thanks to assists from Becca King, Brandon Jacusiw, and Wes Whitlow. Jordan Wonch, however, wasn’t just making goals, but also found himself in the penalty box twice for hooking and slashing.
The third period continued to favor the Caraiboozers, with Becca King and Chiara Carinci adding two more to their tally. There was a little bit of excitement as both teams’ players, Damen McEachern from Willow Lake and Don Pauze from the Caraiboozers, received five-minute penalties for fighting. Willow Lake’s Damen McEachern and Herb McEachern were given additional penalties for game misconduct.
Despite the aggressive play and multiple penalties, the Caraiboozers managed to maintain their dominance throughout the entire game. They concluded the match with a total of 23 shots against Willow Lake’s 7, making it an unforgettable victory for the Caraiboozers.
