On a thrilling evening of youth ball hockey at Woodman Park Community Centre on January 11, 2026, All Swedish No Finish and the Brantford Royals – White locked horns in a game that was the epitome of sportsmanship and thrill.
All Swedish No Finish turned on the style, showing why they’re one of the most formidable teams in the league. They dominated the game right from the onset, with Leyton Johnston netting the first goal just 9 minutes into the first period. Samantha Robdrup and Kourtney Balaga also made their mark, each netting a hat-trick, while Thorin Balaga slotted in two beautiful goals in the second period.
The Brantford Royals – White put up a valiant fight, with Keeghan Kellam and Chris Boyd scoring a goal each towards the end of the first period. Despite their efforts, they were unable to crack the solid defense of All Swedish No Finish.
There was a slight hiccup for the Royals late in the second period when Keeghan Kellam was penalized for slashing, momentarily putting them on the back foot.
All in all, it was a brisk game filled with spectacular goals and breathtaking moments. The skill and tenacity of these young players were on full display, reminding us why we love this game so much. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the season has in store!
