On a high-energy evening of November 1st, 2025, the Brantford Royals faced off against the Lumberjacks in an unforgettable ball hockey game. The Royals proved too strong for the Lumberjacks, dominating the match at the BHi Brantford 1 venue. The final score was in favor of the Royals, but the Lumberjacks put up a valiant fight.
In the first period, the Royals quickly established their superiority. Aaron Balsor, Tristan Barkman, and Connor Pyear each netted a goal for the Royals, with assists coming from Preston VanEvery, Nate Maracle, and Adam Barkman, respectively. The Royals continued their winning streak into the second period with Bella Hurlbut and Nate Maracle each adding one more to the scoreboard.
The Lumberjacks fought back in the third period with Kherington Gifford scoring their lone goal, assisted by Kaylan Gifford-Emmett and Nolan Lepine. However, the Royals responded swiftly with Heather Barkman and Caleb Matheson scoring, bringing the final tally in favor of the Royals.
