The bright afternoon of November 1, 2025, witnessed an exhilarating ball hockey match between the fierce Bulldogs and spirited Bulls at the BHi Brantford 2 venue. The final whistle declared the Bulls the champions of the day.
The game kicked off with the Bulldogs showing their defensive skills, especially Makayla Bartlett who, despite a 2-minute penalty in the first period, played a key role in keeping the Bulls at bay. The Bulls retaliated with equal vigor, with Colton Farrugia showing his mettle, earning two penalties, but also playing a crucial role in keeping the Bulldogs’ offense in check.
As the game moved towards the final period, the Bulls took the lead with two back-to-back goals by the unstoppable Jaxon King! King’s successful attempts arrived just seconds apart in the 3rd period, leaving the Bulldogs in a daze.
However, the Bulldogs weren’t ready to give up just yet. With a significant assist from Rowdy Martin, Hridhaan Balothia of the Bulldogs was able to score, bringing some hope to the home team. Balothia’s goal, however, was not enough to take the lead from the Bulls. Despite the Bulldogs having a greater number of shots at goal, the Bulls demonstrated that in the end, it’s the accuracy that counts.
The match wrapped up with the Bulls victorious and the Bulldogs looking forward to a rematch. This game was truly a spectacle, displaying exceptional sportsmanship and skill from both teams. Until next time, keep the ball rolling!
