On the cool evening of October 24, 2025, spectators at BHi Brantford 2 were treated to a thrilling display of ball hockey. The game, played between the Rapid Decline and the Friday Knights, was filled with amazing shots, stunning goals, and a few dramatic moments.
Tyler Zatylny from Rapid Decline got the crowd on their feet in the first period with two fantastic goals, assisted by Quinn Gatez on both occasions. Johnathan Jantzi of the Friday Knights also found the back of the net, keeping the first period intensely competitive.
Todd Alway from Rapid Decline brought more action to the second period, scoring the first goal. Seth Verrips assisted, displaying some excellent teamwork. Not to be outdone, Sullivan Symons of the Friday Knights, previously penalized for a CC violation, scored a goal with an assist from Chuck Bates. However, Tyler Zatylny wasn’t finished for the night, and his third goal elicited a huge cheer from the home team supporters.
In the third and final period, it was all Rapid Decline. Quinn Gatez, after assisting thrice, finally scored a goal himself with help from Tyler Zatylny and Seth Verrips. Summer Hill, assisted by Beth Collins and Kris Boulton, put the icing on the cake with the final goal of the match.
At the final whistle, the Rapid Decline stood victorious, their stunning plays and teamwork clinching their win. It was a great night for ball hockey, with both teams putting on a thrilling display of skill and determination. We look forward to the next game!
