Cain Brothers Lead Spare Parts to Victory in Thrilling Ball Hockey Game

What a thrilling game we had on the cool night of October 22, 2025, as the Spare Parts played against the Netflix and Phils! The Spare Parts took home the victory, mainly thanks to the fantastic performance by the Cain brothers, making it a memorable night at BHi Brantford 1.

The game started with a bang as a penalty was issued to Andrew Patla of the Spare Parts in the first minute of the first period. Despite this setback, the Spare Parts didn’t let that phase them.

The second period proved to be the most exciting part of the game. Dylan Poor of the Netflix and Phils put the first goal on the board with an assist from Lucas Johnston and Isaac Thompson. But the Spare Parts were not to be outdone. Brandon Cain, with assists from his brothers Hunter and Sissy Penzvalto, soon fired back with a goal. Not long after, Brandon repeated the feat with another goal, putting the Spare Parts ahead. Hunter Cain wasn’t done either, scoring yet another goal for the Spare Parts, leaving the Netflix and Phils trailing behind.

The third period saw the Spare Parts continue their dominance, with Ryan Cain, another member of the Cain clan, scoring the last goal of the match. The Netflix and Phils tried their best to catch up, but the Spare Parts’ defense was too strong.

With a final tally of 24 shots on goal, the Spare Parts had a clear offensive advantage over the Netflix and Phils, who managed to get 21 shots on goal. It was an intense game, but the Cain brothers, with their exceptional teamwork and scoring abilities, led the Spare Parts to an exciting win. The Netflix and Phils put up a tough fight, but ultimately could not overcome the onslaught by the Spare Parts.

We can’t wait to see what the next game holds for these two teams!
