On the evening of October 22, 2025, the Crank Lightning team showcased a stunning performance as they outplayed the Bandits at the BHi Brantford 2 venue.
The Lightning started the game on a high note with Trevor Ward, assisted by Jacob Woods and Tim Porter, scoring the opening goal. Not long after, the Bandits retaliated with Preston Burr finding the back of the net, assisted by Zach Robb. However, the first period belonged to the Lightning as Josh Peixoto scored two consecutive goals, one assisted by Alex Richardson and the other by Jacob Woods.
As the second period began, Zach Robb scored for the Bandits, but the Lightning didn’t leave room for a comeback. Wes Whitlow scored a goal assisted by Josh Peixoto and Jimmy Sheaves. Minutes later, Tim Porter extended the Lightning’s lead. Joey Schell, assisted by Preston Burr, gave a ray of hope to the Bandits by netting a goal in the closing seconds of the second period.
In the final period, Jimmy Sheaves, assisted by Josh Peixoto, sealed the game for the Lightning with a final goal, making the score 6-3.
Josh Peixoto was undoubtedly the star of the game with two goals and two assists under his belt. The Lightning outshot the Bandits 27-17, reflecting their dominance throughout the game. Overall, it was a thrilling encounter, and the Lightning proved they are a force to be reckoned with!
