The ball hockey rink at BHi Brantford 1 was buzzing with excitement on the night of October 22, 2025. The game between the home team, Dickens Cider, and the visiting team, The Gamblers, was nothing short of a roller-coaster ride with a thrilling finish.
The game started off with an even-strength goal from Josef Sorensen of Dickens Cider. However, the Gamblers were quick to respond with Lennox Mitten putting up an equalizer. Kalem Powless and Lennox Mitten then scored back-to-back goals, giving the Gamblers a solid 3-1 lead in the first period.
The Cider didn’t lose hope and bounced back in the second period. Noah Bolton and Nolan Wilson netted the puck, tying the game at 3-3 by the end of the second period.
Dickens Cider maintained their momentum into the third period, with Mathew Canessa and Cameron Husk scoring goals and taking the lead. Lennox Mitten from the Gamblers scored one more, but it wasnβt enough to catch up with the Cider.
Ryan Comeau of Dickens Cider sealed the game with a final goal in the fifth period, leading his team to a thrilling victory. The final score left the crowd in awe, with Dickens Cider triumphing over The Gamblers.
