Shamrocks Triumph Over Dickens Cider in Thrilling Ball Hockey Showdown

On the evening of October 14, 2025, fans at the BHi Brantford 1 venue were treated to a thrilling ball hockey showdown. The Shamrocks emerged victorious over the Dickens Cider in a fiercely fought match.

The game started at a high tempo with Shamrocks’ Cody Summers scoring the first goal in the ninth minute. However, Dickens Cider’s Ryan Comeau leveled the score just a few minutes later. The first period ended in a 1-1 tie, setting the stage for an intense second period.

In the second period, the Shamrocks established their dominance. Brandon Jacusiw, assisted by Brandon McCready, scored an even-strength goal in the second minute, pushing the Shamrocks into the lead with a 2-1 scoreline.

The third period was a scoring festival for the Shamrocks. Cody Summers, Evgeny Myshkin (twice), found the back of the net. Assists were put up by Brandon McCready, Brandon Jacusiw, and Seth Verrips, proving to be a devastating combination for Dickens Cider’s defense.

While the third period had its share of high action, it was not without its penalties. Chris Scott of the Shamrocks and Russell Reist of Dickens Cider were both penalized for their actions. But despite these setbacks, the Shamrocks continued their scoring spree, ending the game with an impressive 5-1 victory.

Special commendation goes to the scorers of the evening Cody Summers and Evgeny Myshkin who scored two goals each and Brandon Jacusiw who had a goal and an assist. Their outstanding performance ensured a convincing win for the Shamrocks, marking a memorable day in the team’s history.
