Friday, October 9, 2025, was an evening filled with the thrilling action as the Gladiators faced off against the Crusaders at BHi Brantford 1 arena. The Gladiators came out victorious, marking an exciting end to the week.
The game got off to a fast-paced start, with both teams eager to take control. Liam Torelli of the Crusaders was the first to find the net, with assistance from Carter MacDonald, just 3 minutes and 45 seconds into the first period. Not to be deterred, Carter Gilchrist of the Gladiators swiftly responded with an equalizer, finishing off a fine assist from Bentley Agoston.
The Gladiators maintained their momentum, with Miguel Singbeil scoring another goal at the 3-minute mark, assisted by Ryder Latendresse and Macy Gilchrist. Before the end of the first period, Carter Gilchrist scored his second of the night, signaling the Gladiators’ intent.
In the third period, the Crusaders fought back. Grayson Young, assisted by Matteo Bianco, found the back of the net. However, Bentley Agoston of the Gladiators extended their lead further with a goal at the 7-minute mark. The Crusaders showed their fighting spirit, with Carter MacDonald scoring off an assist by Grayson Young and Matteo Bianco.
The game also saw some disciplined action, with William Bayley of the Gladiators serving a 2-minute penalty for hooking in the third period.
