Families and fans were treated to a thrilling display of ball hockey on the night of October 7, 2025, at the BHi Brantford 1 venue. It was a face-off between the Just the Tip and the Assassins, and the game did not disappoint!
The action started off immediately with Ryan Brown of the Assassins scoring a fantastic even-strength goal just 3 minutes and 16 seconds into the first period. Lelan Morgenschweis added to the lead just moments later, lighting up the scoreboard with an assist from Reign Pratt.
The second period saw Lelan Morgenschweis once again scoring another goal for the Assassins, this time with assists from Tag Vornbrock and Owen Iampietro. A penalty was called on Justin Harrot of Just the Tip for slashing, which added a bit of drama to the period.
Just the Tip found their footing in the third period with a goal from Lawrence Vanevery, assisted by Jacob Gerrard. However, the Assassins were not to be outdone. They responded with goals from Ryan Brown, Lelan Morgenschweis, and Owen Iampietro. Ryan Brown then sealed the deal with an impressive goal in the dying seconds of the game, with assists from Tag Vornbrock and Lelan Morgenschweis.
