Falcons Soar High in Thrilling Victory Over Eagles

On a crisp autumn morning of October 4, 2025, BHi Brantford 1 was abuzz with cheers and roaring applause as the Falcons took on the Eagles in a youth ball hockey showdown. From the opening whistle, the energy was palpable, and it was clear that this was going to be a game to remember.

The Falcons started the game on a high note, as a Default Player, assisted by Marco Barrett, sent the ball into the net just five minutes and twenty-six seconds into the first period. The Eagles, though stunned, were determined not to let the Falcons have an easy game. However, the Falcons were relentless and Emery MacDonald scored a second goal for the Falcons, leaving the score at 2-0 by the end of the first period.

As the second period kicked off, MacDonald continued to shine by scoring two more goals, securing a hat trick. His performance was indeed a testament to the hard work and dedication he had put into his game. The Eagles, not wanting to go down without a fight, answered back with a goal of their own by Carson Hall, assisted by Harrison Veber. However, despite their best efforts, the game ended with the Falcons claiming victory.

Whilst the Falcons celebrated their victory, the Eagles showed great sportsmanship, acknowledging their strong opponents. Despite a couple of penalties for Emillie Blagdon of the Eagles, it was a clean, fair, and thrilling game. The Falcons’ victory was a team effort, but special mentions must go to MacDonald for his fantastic hat-trick.
