On the evening of September 24, 2025, the BHi Brantford 2 venue was buzzing with excitement as the much-anticipated match between Dickens Cider and NFG took place.

As the third period commenced, Michell King from NFG managed to get the puck past the goalie with the help from Wes Whitlow, putting NFG on the scoreboard. But Dickens Cider responded quickly. Ryan Comeau, aided by Ethan Soltis, managed to sneak one in just 31 seconds later. And it wasn’t all! Bryce Hunt-Parker sealed the victory for Dickens Cider with another goal, with an assist from Emery Bouk.
Despite the efforts from both teams, with NFG making 12 shots and Dickens Cider 26, the match ended with a 3-1 victory for Dickens Cider.
