On the evening of August 14, 2025, the Scorpions showed their might against the Baracudas in a gripping match at the BHi Brantford 2. The Scorpions, showing no mercy, took control of the match with an impressive performance, leaving the Baracudas in their wake.
The star of the match was undoubtedly James Huzul of the Scorpions, who netted three fantastic goals. The first of which came just 5 minutes and 31 seconds into the game, with the assistance of Eligh Whalen and William Bayley. Huzul’s second goal happened shortly after, at 2 minutes 20 seconds, with support from William Bayley and Oscar Bell. He completed his hat trick with a solo effort just 7 seconds later.
Aiden Sioen also contributed significantly to the Scorpions’ victory with two goals. The first was scored at 4 minutes and 50 seconds into the game, assisted by Matthew Wilkinson. Sioen scored his second goal in the final seconds of the game, with an assist from Kate Walgraeve and Oscar Bell.
The Scorpions dominated the match, taking 16 shots on goal as opposed to the Baracudas’ 9. It is clear that their strategic play and fantastic teamwork led them to their victory. The Baracudas will definitely be looking for a comeback in their next encounter.
