The Mustangs and Bisons proved that they are two of the most exciting teams in the league on a thrilling night of ball hockey at BHi Brantford 1 on August 14, 2025. With wild swings of momentum, brilliant offensive plays, the game kept everyone on the edge of their seats!
The first period saw an early goal from Mustangs’ Kaiden Haentjens, assisted by Xavier Slotuik. The Bisons responded with a quick strike from Ryker Leduc to level the score. But it was the Mustangs who ended the period on a high with Xavier Slotuik and Lelan Morgenschweis each scoring a goal.
In the second period, the Mustangs extended their lead with goals from Lelan Morgenschweis and Zachary Montour, both times assisted by the unstoppable Xavier Slotuik. The Bisons managed to pull one back later in the period thanks to Nathan Price, narrowing the score gap.
In the third period, Zachary Van Wieren from the Bisons managed to sneak one past the Mustang’s defense. However, it was not enough to turn the tide, and the Mustangs held on to their lead till the final whistle.
Despite the Bisons’ valiant effort in the second half, the Mustangs emerged victorious, proving their prowess and teamwork on the field.
