It was a bright afternoon of energetic youth ball hockey at BHi Brantford 1, as the Tigers and Huskies battled it out on August 14, 2025. Both teams showcased incredible skill and teamwork but it was the Tigers who emerged victorious.
The game started off on an exhilarating note with Carter Lesemann of the Tigers scoring the opening goal nine minutes into the first period with an assist from Logan Barkman. This dynamic duo swapped roles within a minute to score another goal for the Tigers. The Huskies retaliated with Caleb Predojevic, assisted by Ryder Strachan, scoring their first goal seven minutes into the game. The first period ended with a flurry of goals from both sides, with the Tigers holding a slender lead.
The Huskies began the second period strongly with Ryder Strachan scoring an unassisted goal. But the true climax of the game came in the final period. Elijah Mathura of the Tigers scored the opening goal of the third period with Barkman providing the assist. Jayda Hammer of the Huskies tried to turn the tide with her goal five minutes into the third period, but it was not enough to overcome the Tigers.
The game ended with a victory for the Tigers in an action-packed encounter that kept the spectators on the edge of their seats throughout. The notable performances of Logan Barkman and Carter Lesemann of the Tigers, and Caleb Predojevic and Ryder Strachan of the Huskies, ensure that this game will be remembered for a long time.
