On a hot summer day, August 14th, 2025, we witnessed a sizzling game of ball hockey at the BHi Brantford 2 stadium. The atmosphere was electrifying as the Vipers clashed with the Hornets, laying down a thrilling display of skill and strategy. The game, part of the season 3302, ended with a decisive victory for the Vipers.
It was an action-packed first period with both teams striking the net. Jackson Draper of the Vipers kicked off the scoring with an assist from Kaegan Rawson. Not to be outdone, Lucas Rocha of the Hornets responded with an equally impressive goal, assisted by Andre Greene.
The second period was dominated by the Vipers, with Hudsyn Hoskin and Samson Kisac adding to the Vipers’ tally. Despite a minor penalty charged to Kisac for delay of game, the Vipers managed to maintain their momentum.
The third period started with the Vipers leading, and they continued their offensive push. Kaegan Rawson, assisted by Kisac and Autumn Kent, extended the lead further. Kisac then went on a scoring spree, adding two more goals to his name, becoming the star of the match and sealing the victory for the Vipers.
Indeed, it was a great day for the Vipers, who, despite firing fewer shots on goal (17) than the Hornets (13), managed to emerge victoriously. A true testament to the age-old saying, ‘It’s not about how many shots you take, but how many you make’.
The Vipers celebrated their victory, and the Hornets, while disappointed, showed great sportsmanship. The star players of the match included Jackson Draper, Kaegan Rawson, and Samson Kisac, who worked their magic, delighting spectators.
