On the evening of August 6, 2025, ‘The Rocks’ and ‘Spare Parts’ put on a thrilling performance at BHi Brantford 2, where fans were treated to a frenzy of ball hockey action. The Rocks came out triumphant after a fiercely contested game, showing grit and determination.
The opening period saw both teams getting on the scoreboard. Anthony Delry, assisted by Seth Verrips and Dave Neitz, got The Rocks rolling with a smooth strike. Spare Parts’ Ryan Crabb, however, wasn’t deterred. He responded with two unassisted goals, setting the stage for an exciting game.
The second period was where the Rocks truly shone. Kyle Vachon, assisted by John Keegan, netted the first goal of the period for The Rocks. Seth Verrips, seemingly inspired by this, managed to put away two back-to-back goals, with assists from Kyle Vachon, Aaron Churchill, Dave Neitz, and Anthony Delry. The Rocks’ teamwork was on full display as they managed to stymie the Spare Parts’ attack, keeping their own net safe while maintaining pressure.
Despite Spare Parts’ best efforts, The Rocks maintained their lead until the final buzzer. Fans were left on the edge of their seats until the very end, as both teams showcased their skills and determination.
