On the evening of August 19, 2025, the ball hockey rink at BHi Brantford 1 was ablaze with action as the Trash Pandas faced off against the Unhealthy Scratches. In this exciting second game of the series, the Trash Pandas emerged victorious, much to the delight of their fans.
The game started off with a bang as Aidan Waite of the Unhealthy Scratches netted the first goal, assisted by Matthew Husk. However, the Trash Pandas soon responded with a goal by Tom Johnson, assisted by James Colwell and Jake Dawson. Dawson, not content to be just an assistant, then followed up with his own goal, closing the first period with the Pandas leading.
The Unhealthy Scratches tried to claw their way back into the game in the second period, with a goal by Tyler McDole. But the Trash Pandas were not to be deterred. Owen Blank found the net with an assist from Connor Mackinnon, solidifying the Pandas’ victory.
The match was not without its share of penalties, which saw both teams spending some time in the box. Matthew Husk and Gavin List of the Unhealthy Scratches and Jake Dawson and Connor Mackinnon of the Trash Pandas were all penalized for various infractions.
Despite their best efforts, the Unhealthy Scratches couldn’t overcome the Trash Pandas’ lead. The final whistle saw the Trash Pandas claim their victory in this thrilling ball hockey showdown. Stay tuned for the next match to see if the Unhealthy Scratches can scratch their way back to victory!
