The ball hockey world was treated to an exciting match between the Trash Pandas and the Shamrocks on the evening of October 22, 2025. This thrilling game, held at BHi Brantford 2, witnessed a cascade of goals, agile maneuvers, and nail-biting tension.
The first period saw a high stick penalty for Owen Blank of the Trash Pandas, but it didn’t dampen the team’s spirits as they forged ahead. The second period brought both teams onto the scoreboard, with Owen Blank of the Trash Pandas equalizing a goal by Brandon McCready from the Shamrocks. Blank was again penalized for high sticking, but that didn’t stop the Trash Pandas.
In the third period, the Trash Pandas unleashed their full power. Owen Blank scored his second goal, assisted by Ryan Calbeck and James Colwell. James Colwell, feeding off that momentum, scored twice within minutes, with both goals assisted by Ryan Calbeck. The Shamrocks tried to rally back with a goal by Chris Scott, but the Trash Pandas held their ground.
Even though the Shamrocks had a higher shot count of 19 compared to the Trash Pandas’ 18, it was the Trash Pandas who emerged victorious in the end. The highlight of the match was undoubtedly the high-scoring performance from James Colwell and Owen Blank from the Trash Pandas, who put on a spectacular show.
