In an exciting ball hockey match on October 14th, 2025, the Brantford Ball Crushers emerged victorious against The Rocks in a thrilling face-off at BHi Brantford 1. The final score has the Crushers taking away the game, showing their prowess in both offense and defense.
The game kicked off with a quick goal in the first period from Dillon Breen of the Crushers, assisted by Derek Robertson. The Rocks fought back, but it was Joe Hughes from the Crushers who hit the back of the net in the second period, solidifying the Crushers’ lead. Christopher Rowe got the assist on this one.
The third period saw an electrifying performance from both teams. Joe Hughes again scored for the Crushers, with assists from Christopher Rowe and Dillon Breen. However, The Rocks weren’t going down without a fight! Chris Scott, assisted by Seth Verrips, scored a goal for The Rocks. Despite their valiant effort, it was not enough to close the gap.
There was a fair share of penalties too, with Dillon Breen from the Crushers and Chris Scott from The Rocks penalized for SLA and HO infractions in the second period. Erin Hughes from the Crushers also received a penalty for SLA in the third period.
Despite the penalties, the Crushers played a spectacular game, securing their victory with a total of 18 shots. The Rocks fought hard, with 21 shots taken, but unfortunately couldn’t convert enough of these opportunities into goals.
