The BHi Brantford 2 venue was the scene of an electrifying youth ball hockey game on September 27, 2025. The Bulldogs faced off against the Broncos, in a game that had spectators on the edge of their seats from start to finish.
The game kicked off with a quick goal from the Bulldogs’ Nic Santa-Barbara, assisted by Cole Walker and Ryker Leduc. But the Broncos didn’t let that dampen their spirits – Ignatius Burtnick, with the help of Kaitlyn Barkman, promptly leveled the score.
The first period saw a display of impressive teamwork from the Bulldogs, with Tristan Webb scoring two consecutive goals, one of them unassisted and the other with help from Andre Greene and Brycen Buscombe. The second period was no less exciting, featuring goals from both teams, but again the Bulldogs managed to take the lead thanks to Brycen Buscombe and Ryker Leduc’s goals.
The third period was a nail-biting affair, with Ignatius Burtnick and Carson Swayze from the Broncos giving the Bulldogs a run for their money. The Broncos showed great resilience, pulling back the scoreline with their persistence. But the Bulldogs were relentless, with goals from Brycen Buscombe, Ryker Leduc, and Andre Greene securing their victory.
In the end, it was the Bulldogs who emerged victorious despite the fierce competition from the Broncos. The game concluded with the Bulldogs leading by an exciting score, displaying great sportsmanship and skill throughout the match.
