Thrilling Game of Goals: Lions Roar Past Galaxy!

Buckle up folks, for an intense ball hockey game took place on February 8, 2026, between the Lions and the Galaxy at the Woodman Park Community Centre. The matchup was part of the Round Robin series, with the teams being 1st and 3rd respectively.

The game was a delightful showcase of speed, skills and sportsmanship, with both teams producing magnificent goals. The 1st period dazzled fans as Reid Cole of the Lions and Carter Hamilton of the Galaxy both scored impressive hat-tricks. Soon after, Hunter Laurie and Landyn Waters added goals for the Lions, ending the first period with a thrilling scoreline.

The 2nd period saw Xaiver Hycza of the Galaxy score a hat-trick, matching the pace of the game. However, the Lions, notched up their game with Landyn Waters and Hunter Laurie scoring another goal each, leading the Lions to a triumphant finish.

All was not rosy though, as each team saw a player cool their heels in the penalty box. Xaiver Hycza and Reed Anderson of the Galaxy and Claire Hall from the Lions were each penalized for 2 minutes.
